Kick emote resizer

Make Kick emotes from any image or GIF: 500×500, PNG or animated GIF, under 1 MB, with transparent padding instead of stretching.

Drop a GIF, PNG, APNG, JPEG or WebP

Output: 500×500, under 1000 KB. Animated or still. Runs on your device; nothing is uploaded.

GIF can’t store soft edges; blending them into your chat background makes outlines smooth there.

Moving emotes from Twitch to Kick

Twitch emotes top out at 112×112 in manual mode, while Kick wants 500×500. Scaling a 112 px emote up nearly 4.5× will look soft; export from your original artwork when you can. Animated GIFs at 500×500 are large, so the resizer fits them under 1 MB by trying fewer colours, gentler dithering and pixel reuse between frames before dropping any frames.

Questions

What size are Kick emotes?

500×500 pixels, PNG or GIF, under 1 MB.

Can Kick emotes be animated?

Yes, as GIF. Long or detailed GIFs at 500×500 often go over 1 MB; the resizer fits them under the limit and shows how close the result is to your original.

I made my emotes for Twitch at 112×112. Will they work?

They will be scaled up to 500×500, which softens them. Start from your largest original artwork if you have it.

Is my image uploaded?

No. Everything runs in your browser.
